Did You Know…
Air Greenland has nearly 65 years of experience in aviation and holds one of Europe’s most complex Air Operator Certificates (AOC). This certificate confirms that the airline has the necessary procedures, resources, and safety measures in place to operate commercial flights. It’s issued by the national aviation authority—in Air Greenland’s case, the Danish Transport Authority—which continuously monitors and inspects the airline to ensure compliance. In short, an AOC is an essential license that verifies an airline is authorized to operate safely.
