At Air Greenland, hand baggage is included in the ticket price. Special rules apply regarding the number of items, weight and size, and we kindly ask you to pay attention to the list of items that are not permitted on board.
Takuss, Standard and Standard Flex tickets

Premium and Premium tickets
- 2 pieces of hand baggage
- Maximum combined weight: 8 kg
- Maximum dimensions: 55 x 40 x 23 cm
Excess hand baggage
If the amount of hand baggage exceeds the available cabin capacity, Air Greenland reserves the right to place some of the baggage in the aircraft’s hold.
Excess or oversized hand baggage will be taken from the passenger at check-in, weighed, tagged to the passenger’s destination and loaded with the other checked baggage.
Liquids and liquid substances in hand baggage
You may bring one or more containers of liquids, each with a maximum capacity of 100 ml.
Maximum limit: You may bring a total of up to 1 litre of liquids, but these must be divided into small containers of no more than 100 ml each. All containers must fit into a single transparent, resealable 1-litre plastic bag.
Medication
Bring any necessary medication for the flight in your hand baggage so that you have it readily available.
If you require oxygen during the flight or wish to bring your own oxygen cylinder, please contact Air Greenland well in advance of your journey.
In addition to your hand baggage, you may bring the following items on board:
- Duty-free goods purchased on board or at the airport
- A small handbag or purse
- An overcoat
- A small camera or pair of binoculars
- Reading material
- An umbrella or walking stick
- A changing bag and baby carrier/carrycot (if travelling with a child)
