Permitted quantity:
Loose lithium batteries may be carried in hand baggage if they are under 100 Wh per battery. Please note that loose batteries are not permitted in checked baggage.
Maximum limit:
If you wish to carry loose batteries with a capacity of more than 100 Wh per battery, the following applies:
- Approval from Air Greenland must be obtained by contacting our Call Centre via Contact us
- A maximum of 2 batteries may be carried, and each battery must not exceed 160 Wh.
- The equipment that the batteries are intended for must be carried together with the batteries.
Electronic devices:
Most electronic devices, such as mobile phones, laptops, etc., have batteries with a capacity of less than 100 Wh and can be freely carried in hand baggage, but not in checked baggage.
