If you booked your trip directly from Air Greenland, you can use My Booking to change, upgrade, or cancel your ticket. Your options depend on the ticket type.
If you purchased your trip through a travel agency, you must contact the travel agency for assistance.
Changes must be made no later than 2 hours before the start of the trip.
Takuss, Standard, and Premium
You can change the date or destination for a fee of DKK 750 per person, plus any difference in price between your existing and new ticket. This applies to both trips within Greenland and transatlantic trips.
The change fee is calculated as follows:
- Trip issued as one booking: One fee of DKK 750 per person.
- Trips issued separately: One fee for each trip that is changed.
- Outbound and return trips changed at the same time: One fee per person if the trip was issued as one booking.

Outbound and return trips changed at different times: One fee per person for each change.
Standard Flex and Premium Flex
You can change the date or destination according to the rules that apply to your ticket.
Any difference in price and any change fee will be shown when you make the change.
How to change your trip
If you purchased your ticket directly from Air Greenland, you can make the change yourself in My Booking, where the price will be shown.
If you would like assistance from Air Greenland's Call Center, you can contact us through the contact form.
A service fee of DKK 300 per person will be charged for rebooking through the Call Center, in addition to any difference in price and change fee.
A domestic ticket cannot be changed to an international ticket or vice versa, as these are different ticket products.
Name change
It is possible to change the name on all ticket types for a fee of DKK 900 per person.

- Trip issued as one booking: One fee of DKK 900 per person.

Trips issued separately: One fee for each trip that is changed.
Upgrade
- Takuss and Standard can be upgraded to Premium.
- Standard Flex can be upgraded to Premium or Premium Flex. If you upgrade to Premium, the ticket is no longer fully refundable.
Upgrades must be made no later than 2 hours before the start of the trip. Therefore, it is not possible to purchase an upgrade at check-in.
If you purchased the ticket directly from Air Greenland, you can upgrade through My Booking. The price depends on the difference between your existing and new ticket. This applies both with and without a change to the travel date.
An upgrade cannot be reversed, including within the 24-hour cancellation period. Therefore, you cannot have the upgrade refunded by changing back to your original ticket type.
Refunds
Tickets can be canceled online until 2 hours before departure. The amount you can have refunded depends on the ticket rules and will be refunded to the payment card used for the purchase.
Flown segments and any purchased cancellation insurance are not refundable.
If the ticket has been upgraded to a Flex ticket
An upgrade does not make the original, non-refundable ticket fare refundable. In the event of cancellation, only the refundable price difference you paid for the upgrade, as well as refundable airport taxes and fees, will be refunded. Any change or upgrade fees are non-refundable.
Example: You upgrade from Takuss at DKK 4,000 to Standard Flex at DKK 5,000 and pay DKK 1,000 in price difference plus a DKK 750 change fee. In the event of cancellation, you will receive DKK 1,000 back, plus refundable airport taxes and fees. The change fee will not be refunded.
24-hour cancellation period
You can cancel your ticket purchase within 24 hours of purchase and receive a full refund if you cancel the entire trip.

The cancellation period does not apply to change fees, upgrades, or purchased seat selection.
Seat selection
- Standard and Premium: Regular seat selection is free when booking. Seats with extra legroom are not included.
- Takuss: Seat selection costs DKK 150 per person when booking.
Purchased seat selection cannot be canceled or refunded.
Business customers
As a business customer, the company's booking administrator must log in to the business portal and find the trip in the trip overview.
