Air Greenland, in collaboration with Jettime have an agreement for flights between Nuuk and Copenhagen/Billund.
It is usually always good to familiarize yourself with what the content of a product is – before you buy it. And especially when buying a plane ticket! That's why we've prepared this list of questions and answers about what applies on the route.

What does the agreement contain?
The agreement is a collaboration between Air Greenland and Jettime, where Air Greenland charters Jettime's entire aircraft and crew.
The aircraft type is a Boeing 738, which is an aircraft with an aisle and 3 seats on each side. It can carry 189 passengers on board.
Who is responsible for the traveller during the flight?
The aircraft operator, in this case Air Greenland, is responsible for handling the traveller in connection with:
- Delays, cancellations and overbookings.
- Rebooking, catering and accommodation.
- Baggage handling and compensation.
- Customer service and contact.
- Changes or Refunds.
If the flight is cancelled or delayed, it is Air Greenland that must find a solution and can help you with changes or refunds.
How can I tell if a flight is happening with Jettime?

What service will I get on board?
Air Greenland's passengers will have the same service concept as on our transatlantic route with our own aircraft "Tuukkaq". Meals are included in the ticket price.
Are there cabin crew from Air Greenland employees on board?
No, the Jettime flight is occupied by the Jettime crew and it can therefore not be expected that there are Greenlandic-speaking cabin crew on board.
Is there an entertainment system on board Jettime?
There are no TV screens on the backs of the seats in the plane, and there is no access to the internet. We therefore recommend that you remember to download music or movies before departure, or that you take your favorite book under your arm when you board.
Can you charge your mobile or tablet on board the plane?
It is not possible to put a cable in a power supply, as you can in some aircraft. Therefore, remember to charge your mobile, tablet or PC before departure.
Is it possible to shop duty-free on board the plane?
Yes, you can shop duty-free on the Jettime flights. However, there is not the same range of goods as on other Air Greenland flights across the Atlantic, but a limited selection of goods. Since the aircraft is smaller, the space for duty-free goods is also more limited.

Who handles check-in?
Air Greenland handles check-in. At Billund Airport there is self check in where you must use self-check in machines, and at Nuuk and Copenhagen Airport, it is the Air Greenland desk you check in with.
Can I choose where I sit on the plane?
Yes, you can. You can choose the seats in rows 1-31, in seats A, B, C, D, E and F.
You can either choose a seat when booking the trip or ask the check-in staff if a certain seat is available.
How much baggage can I bring?
Air Greenland's rules on baggage apply. In the flight ticket, 20 kg of checked baggage is included, while it is allowed to take 8 kg of hand luggage with you. When do I have to check in before departure?
Check-in with Air Greenland flights starts 22 hours before departure.
In Greenland check-in must be finished 1 hour before departure.
In Denmark, we strongly recommend that you check-in -23 hours before departure, due to possible long waiting time in Security afterword's. Check-in closes 1 hour before departure.
After check-in, you must be at the airport at the latest 30 minutes before departure. In Nuuk you must have gone through Security at the latest 45 minutes before departure.

Are there Air Greenland staff at Danish airports?
Yes and no, in Copenhagen there are Air Greenland staff, there are not in Billund, but you can contact the helpful staff at Billund airport.
Can I check in online?
Yes, online check-in is possible.
I have a connecting connection in Greenland. Can I check in my baggage all the way to the final destination?
Yes, if you or your travel agent have booked the flight ticket as a continuous journey with Air Greenland, your baggage will be checked in to your final destination. However, you may need to go to Air Greenland's counter at Nuuk Airport to get a boarding pass for the next part of the journey.
Are animals allowed on the flight?
Yes, you can bring animals with you in the cabin. However, there are only two animals allowed in the cabin of Jettime's aircraft.
Jettime cannot take animals larger than 8kg, as the cargo space of the machine is not heated.
Can an unaccompanied child travel with Jettime?
No, unfortunately it is not possible to book an unaccompanied minor on our Jettime flights.
