Traffic deviations within aviation are triggered by many different factors, both from outside and internally in Air Greenland.
If a departure is canceled, passengers will be rebooked for the first possible departure to the same destination.
Air Greenland generally covers the following costs for passengers affected by traffic deviations: Catering in reasonable proportion to the waiting time Accommodation - sailors' homes, hotels, etc. Surface transport, where this is a useful alternative to a lost connection with aircraft.
In the event of conflict situations, strikes, natural disasters and similar situations beyond Air Greenland's control, Air Greenland will not initially pay for any costs, but will be borne by the passenger himself.
In case of delays / cancellations, Air Greenland pays both accommodation / breakfast, lunch and dinner.
If a flight is canceled or delayed for more than 5 hours, the customer has the right to a refund of the purchase price for the reservation and thus cancel the trip, or to have the trip rebooked.
As a rule, Air Greenland will always make sure to rebook all affected passengers to the next possible departure.
