WiFi onboard on Tuukkaq

Air Greenland offers WiFi onboard flights with Tuukkaq.

Please note that WiFi is not available on flights with Jettime or other chartered aircrafts, as it does not have internet installed.

Below you can see how to log on to WiFi onboard the aircraft.

 

How to get online

  • Enable Wi-Fi on your device
  • Connect to the network TuukkaqWiFi
  • You will be automatically redirected to the WiFi portal → If not, go to: wifi.inflight.viasat.com
  • Choose your preferred WiFi plan
  • Pay by credit card or voucher – and get online
     

Which devices are supported?
Tuukkaq WiFi works on devices with:

  • Wi-Fi and a web browser, recent versions of iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, Chrome, or Firefox
  • (Older versions may work, but are not guaranteed).
     

Flying in Premium Class? 
As a Premium Class passenger, you’ll receive a WiFi voucher that can be redeemed directly on the portal.

 

What can I use it for?
Tuukkaq WiFi is designed for: Messaging apps like iMessage, Messenger, and WhatsApp, Web browsing, email, and online shopping.
Streaming services are not recommended on this connection.

 

How much does it cost?
8 USD ≈ 59 DKK
The price is shown in USD as the service is provided by an external partner – a standard practice among airlines. You can pay with Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. A receipt will be sent to the email address you enter during purchase.

 

Why are some websites blocked? 
To ensure safe and appropriate usage, access to certain categories is restricted, including: Violent content, sexually explicit or adult-themed material, extremist or illegal content, malware and pirated files. 

 

When is WiFi available? Tuukkaq WiFi is available when:

  • The aircraft is above 10,000 feet (approx. 3,000 meters)
  • The satellite connection is established
  • WiFi will be disabled below 10,000 feet during descent.

 

The connection may be temporarily affected by: 
Satellite transitions, severe weather, solar storms and geomagnetic activity, technical issues or regional restrictions.

 

Is my WiFi plan valid for my next flight? 
No – your plan is only valid for this flight.

 

Please remember
Show consideration for other travellers throughout your journey. Any telephone conversations over the WiFi connection must be kept at a neutral volume and filming of other travellers is not permitted without consent.
